Bruce used to be my uncle when he was married to my aunt Linda in the 70's & early 80's. Although I haven't seen or spoke to him in about 25 years, I never forgot about him. I always thought he was a great guy & he was a big part of my childhood/teen years. He will be missed.

I worked under the guidance of Mr.Souder for years and appreciate all he taught me.I remember those hours we spent together as he "taught me the grocery business". He was a great leader and always demanded the best from everyone. He had a great sense of humor and a big heart. I could hear his bellowing laugh right now. I will hold close the time we spent together when he discussed his experiences in the war. This talk had a lasting impression on me and I will always remember that talk. I would like to extend deepest sympathies to Marie and the children and all of his family on behalf of my wife and daughters, parents, brothers and sisters here in The Bahamas,we will all miss him.

I met Bruce while at Sunrise Middle School in Ft. Lauderdale. He was a very, very dear friend of mine through our junior high and high school years. We had the very best times together. I remember his beautiful face and gorgeous smile. Although we lost touch through the years, I feel Bruce and I could have immediately started up again with a feeling of close friendship - not a day lost in easily catching up with each other. Oh, how quickly life may go. I was so saddened to hear of Bruce's passing. My prayers are with the family. I am so glad to know he was blessed with a loving and devoted family. Bruce was a very special person! My deepest sympathy to his wife and children. I will always remember Bruce as a good and dear friend!!!

And when he gets to Heaven,
To Saint Peter he will tell:
“Another Marine reporting Sir –
I’ve served my time in Hell.”

To Marie although I have only met you recently your love and devotion for your husband is very heart felt. You have been so very strong and caring. He was indeed a lucky man to have you by his side.
My sister Pat was always telling me what a wonderful brother and uncle Bruce was to her and her family.
May you and your children take comfort in knowing that the Lord will bless you and help you threw all the days to come. Please take care of yourself.
With deepest sympathy

Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I am Bruce's second cousin and have memories of playing with him and Keith in Ft. Lauderdale. Though younger, my father was Iris's uncle.
Again, heartfelt sympathy goes to your entire family.
