I just now found out about Bruce's passing and I had posted the following on Facebook, but thought I'd share it here as well. Bruce and I first met in 1995 at a company in Kentucky called Entex, which was later acquired by Siemens. I'm not sure what Bruce's IQ was, but I feel certain it was Mensa caliber! He was always a gentlemen when situations called for it, always a good listener and mentor whenever someone asked him for help, about work and about life. And all other times, he was stealthily ready with his super-quick, dry wit. However, his eyes and smile were most bright whenever the topic of his children and grandchildren came up Ever since I first met Bruce, he was always deeply, extremely and eternally proud of his family!
After reading Marie's entry, I concur, Bruce was a gentle soul as well as a 'character', in all the right ways!
Bruce, my dear friend, may you forever rest in peace!

Uncle Bruce was a character! I loved his gentleness and his sense of humor. My most favorite memory of him is when Gestin ("Peppy") handed her Barbie Doll to uncle Bruce and asked him to tease her hair and with that, uncle Bruce started say "nanny, nanny boo-boo" and sticking his tongue out at the doll. You will be missed uncle Bruce. Love you! Marie Lum
