Bruce Armfield Weatherly

Bruce always boosted me up and gave me encouragement. I think of him often these days.

Peggy, I was so sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. Our family holds many fond memories of Trinity Church. Richard and I were married there and our children, Cindy and Jon, were baptized there. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Peg and family. Although not unexpected, news of Bruce's death nonetheless was a shock and brought back so many memories. God bless you all in this time of emptiness and grieving.

Our sympathy goes out to all the Weatherly family. We were so very sorry to hear of Mr. Weatherly's passing and know how he will be missed especially by you all. I was the parish secretary at Trinity, Moorestown, NJ in the mid 60's When Perry Winterrowd was there also. To Melissa and family - I'm so sorry to hear about Pastor Weatherly's passing. You are all in my prayers.

I am saddened to hear about Canon Weatherly's death - I still think about what I learned from the adult confirmation classes I took with him at Trinity Church and the thoughtfulness of his sermons, in spite of the fact that I am not a practicing Christian. He was a very caring and generous man and will obviously be missed.

Many years ago, I worked under Margaret Weatherly at the Camden County Historical Society. I remember meeting her husband on several occasions; and enjoyed hearing about his good works and their wonderful family life. I wanted her and the family to know that I was saddened to read online of his passing.

To the Weatherly family- I'm sadened by the news as Bruce was part of the Ford family when we were all in NJ at Trinity. Please know you all are in our thoughts. Cindy Ford Mount (Grand dtr of Mary Jo & Dick Ford)

I too grew up in Moorestown at Trinity Church and benefitted from Mr. Weatherly's kindness and wisdom. It seems just like yesterday. He will always live in the Aitken family's thoughts and prayers.

Although we have not been in touch lately, John and I were very sorry to learn of Bruce’s passing from the Wares. We send our love and prayers to all the family. We remember fondly the family reunion we came to.

Margaret, I have just returned to town and learned of Bruce's death. The church has lost a great priest and I shall miss his passion for social justice and the good cheer that he always brought to our clergy luncheons. Growing up in Moorestown, Trinity Church was a secure, caring and vibrant extended family. It wasn't until later in life I realized that this was due, in large part, to the patience, intellect, hard work and deep love of humanity of Mr. Weatherly. To say that he will be missed is a great understatement and I consider myself blessed that he was such an integral part of my life.

Peggy: Ginny and I send our love and deepest sympathy at Bruce's death. We, like so many, cannot imagine life without Bruce around. He meant so very much to us and all he stood for will live on in our memory as time passes. Please know how much we love you and feel for you at this time.
