I was Bruce´s roommate in our last year at Purdue and couldn´t believe he died. He had it all and became a billionaire after his father died. Then Bruce died a few years later! So sadThere will never be a Bruce like my Bruce! Rest in peace and we can meet in the promised land! Kai Woogie

I´m so shocked and saddened to hear about his passing .... My son was so fortunate to be able to be a recipient of his scholarship.. we looked forward every year to the opportunity to see him and his wife to thank them. I loved to see their smile and happiness to see how each year they see how every student progressed. I remember one year they still came and apologized because they were late and I thought omg they went thru a snowstorm from Colorado to be at the benefit for us.! I just want to say we will pay it forward and my son so wanted to tell you he´s was accepted to northwestern and will always remember your kindness and felt your true meaning of giving for others .

I worked at The Star Plaza in the late 80's. At that time, the employee lunches were served in the breakroom by the chef of the hotel . We got to have leftover meals from the restaurants and they could be very good. I was in line and Bruce was behind me. There were two of the really good meals left (beef tips) . I was about 9 months pregnant. The chef looked like "Oh now what am I going to do" I looked at Bruce and said, oh, you can have the last lunch. He looked at me like I was nuts and said Becky, do you really think I would take the last meal from a pregnant woman?! LOL! The chef looked so relieved!!! He was humble and knew everyone's name in that hotel. Good people!

So sorry for your loss. Bruce helped my husband & I plan a Model Railroad Convention at the Raddison in Merrillville in the '70s. He was kind, cheerful & helpful. Nice memories. Thank you.

Dear Beth and family,
I was devastated to learn that your Dear Bruce died. Anything that I can say or do at a time like this will bring you little comfort.
I like to remember the happy times we had together at the Boys and Girls Club etc.
How proud Bruce was of you and your families many fine accomplishments. You and your family have my deepest and most sincerest sympathy.
With much love,
