All the lads at London Irish looked up to Bryan - we had to, he was bigger than us! It's unfathomable he's been taken from us, that we'll not hear his belly laugh again or bathe in the glow of his warm wit. It was grand to share the good times with you and to know that when you left us in London, you'd gone off to make a wonderful family with your beloved LeeEllen. We'll miss you big feller.

LeeEllen, Our thoughts are with you from afar. I know your strength will carry Gabriel, Regan, and Muiredach through this difficult time, they are fortunate to have you as their mother. I saw Bryan just before I left Ottawa, it was such a typical moment with Bryan as we shared a few quips, a bit of thoughtful commentary about his time in Ghana and our move to Kenya, and then a couple of Canuck and Irish jibes - and naturally, it was outside of a rink where we bumped into each other. We had the pleasure to work with Bryan for five good years. His quick witted comments and bantering provided welcome relief during stressful situations and his brilliance helped us overcome some extraordinary project challenges with the Victoria Museum of Nature in Ottawa, Regent Park Phase One of the Toronto Revitalization Project, Queen's University Jock Harty Arena, and the Phillips Cable Plant Remediation and Demolition project in Brockville. Bryan was our Project Manager on each of these major projects, and his influence and involvement ensured a successful outcome each time. Bryan also played a pivotal role in helping our our firm meet LEED requirement for Green Projects.
A loyal Irishman and devoted family man, we enjoyed Bryan's eloquence as he would tell us about his new love of "ice hockey" and watching his son playing the Canadian Game. He was a genuine and caring person who will be missed by all whose lives he touched. His smile is gone but his memory remains.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife LeeEllen, and their family during these most difficult times.
We'll always keep "Big Bryan Casey" in our hearts and thoughts.

I knew Bryan through our work together on AECL until I retired from Siemens last Sepember. We shared dinner together only a couple of short weeks ago in Pembroke. My regret is that I never got the chance to know Bryan even better. I,like many others will miss his humour and his quick wit.
