Bryan's Journey

On July 9, 2021, God received the breath of BRYAN ANTONIO DELANEY, born on May 23, 1968 at D.C. General Hospital in Washington, DC. Bryan received his education in the Washington, DC Public School System where he received his high school diploma from McKinley Technology High School in 1986. After high school Bryan joined the United States Army. Upon returning home from his tenure in the military, Bryan began a successful career by obtaining his CDL Class B license in which he was employed by Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) along with several other transportation services throughout the District of Columbia. Bryan affectionately earned the nickname "The Good Looker". He was also blessed in having the technique in cutting hair in his spare time and worked for several barbershops in the area. Bryan enjoyed eating family meals, reading the bible, relaxing, shopping and his favorite past time was spending quality time with his family. Bryan was known to be a very well liked, always had a positive attitude, very respectful and that's one thing we will always remember is his infectious smile.

Bryan is survived by his mother Anthea McBride; his father Tyrone McBride; one sister Alisha Pugh; one son David Jugg; two granddaughters; one brother-in-law Bill Pugh; one niece Makayla Pugh; aunts Justine Delaney, Valerie Delaney, and Phyllis McBride; many cousins Derrick Delaney, Rodney Harris, Ferseathia (CeCe) Blaine, Marcellus Goree, Jermaine Harris, Dominque Kemper, Raven Harris, Shanice Goree, Erin Blaine, Maya Goree, Cameron Blaine, Christian Blaine, Sydney Goree, Morgan Goree, Dior Kemper, Jeremiah Harris, Josiah Harris, Jaylen Harris, Rozari Oliver and three special friends, Dana Boone, Tiffany Turner-Allen, Stephen (Bubba) Garcia and a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Audrey L. Gross and aunt Garnetta Williams. Bryan was absolutely loved; he will be sorely missed by us all.

Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 for a Memorial Service from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 2294 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, MD.

TO MY DEAR FRIEND.

Never will I forget the man that LOVED me.
No love is perfect but Bryan knew how to love
and for that experience of being loved.
I will never forget you my dear.

Until I see you again keep the praise songs going.
You're home now.
