Bryan K. Jackson, 52, of Loves Park passed away Monday August 1, 2016 at Presence Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, IL.
Bryan was born on July 2, 1964 in Chicago, the son of Phillip and Patricia (Davis) Jackson. Bryan was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Bryan worked for the United States Post Office in Rockford (Harrison Ave.) and was a long standing postal union representative for APWU with his last position as Vice President. Bryan loved the Raiders (NFL), Blackhawks (NHL) and fishing.
Bryan is survived by his children: Zachary Jackson, Kaylee Jackson (Jeremy Galvan) and Nicolas Jackson; granddaughter Madilynn Galvan; mother Patricia Jackson; father Phillip Jackson; brother Kevin (Terrie) Jackson; sister Heather Jackson; Loretta (Graves) Jackson, mother of Bryan's children; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in Bryan's name to the American Diabetes Association.
Visitation for Bryan will be Sunday August 7, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Advantage Funeral Home 7000 W. State St. in Rockford. Funeral to celebrate Bryan's life will be 11:00 am Monday August 8, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will be in Willwood Burial Park.
