Bryan Jackson Obituary
Bryan K. Jackson, 52, of Loves Park passed away Monday, August 1, 2016, at Presence Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, IL. Bryan was born July 2, 1964, in Chicago, the son of Phillip and Patricia (Davis) Jackson. Bryan was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Bryan worked for the United States Post Office in Rockford (Harrison Ave.) and was a long standing postal union representative for APWU with his last position as Vice President. Bryan loved the Raiders (NFL), Blackhawks (NHL) and fishing. Bryan is survived by his children, Zachary Jackson, Kaylee Jackson (Jeremy Galvan) and Nicolas Jackson; granddaughter, Madilynn Galvan; mother, Patricia Jackson; father, Phillip Jackson; brother, Kevin (Terrie) Jackson; sister, Heather Jackson; Loretta (Graves) Jackson, mother of Bryan's children; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Bryan will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, August 7, 2016, at Advantage Funeral Home, 7000 W. State St., Rockford. Funeral to celebrate Bryan's life will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will be in Willwood Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Bryan's name to the American Diabetes Association.
