Buck Kartalian

Deepest sympathy to the family of Buck Kartalian. I just learned of his passing today, and was so saddened to hear the news. I had the honour and privilege of acting in a feature called "Checkpoint" with Buck many years ago. He kept me and the rest of the cast and crew in stitches during a memorably cold and challenging shoot in Detroit area in a bitterly cold January. We all benefited from Buck's experience and expertise- he really was 'the real deal' a true veteran character actor. He spoke fondly of his wife, Margaret and I was sorry to hear she had also passed last year. My condolences to his children and loved ones.
