To the Whites, my heartfelt condolences to all of you. So sorry for your loss. Your father was a great singer and piano player and loved watching him dance. But heaven rejoices to have an other angel. Stay blessed cause God loves him more than you do

I have always loved The Whites and Mr. Buck will be missed by many. I enjoyed seeing them at the Opry several times and always enjoyed Bucks enthusiasm and energy he brought every time. His passing saddens me but I know he´s in a much better place now singing with the Angels. God bless the entire White family. You are all loved by so many of us.

From Ireland.
Hard to believe that the great Buck White has gone and left us all.
He was a person that for some reason you thought that he would live forever.
People are so lucky that they live in a country where you can go and see these fantastic musicians
I live in a rural area in the west of Ireland and thank god that we now have the ways of tuning in and listening to this great music.
As I write this I am listening to the Whites singing Sunny Side.
You had a great long life Buck and I wish you well on your final journey.
My sincerest sympathies to all, and may his gentle and kind soul rest in peace.

We are long time fans of the Whites and had a special place in our hearts for Buck White. He was a man of true Spirit in his love for God, his family and all that ever seen this man. The music has lost a great musician but Heaven´s Choir has a new voice and true spirit.

I met Buck a few years ago at the Mid Ohio Valley Opre in McConnnellsville, Ohio. We went back stage to tell him about Smokie Donaldson's guitar that he had given to him. He was very gracious to us and we chatted for awhile.

We are saddened to learn that Buck White, founder of the Grammy Award-winning bluegrass trio the Whites, has died, and send our heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the family. He will surely be missed by all who loved and cherished him. The Whites appeared in the movie, "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" playing "Keep on the Sunny Side" and sang the soundtrack for the movie. They also become celebrated bluegrass artists.
Thank you, Mr. White, for sharing your musical talents with us. You led an award-winning trio, becoming Grand Ole Opry members, induction into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Grammys awards, at the CMAs, ACMs, and more. You accomplished much. Thank you.
Please continue to cherish your good memories, and may they always provide some comfort for you. May prayers strengthen you and God´s loyal love always comfort and sustain you. Psalm 23

My sincere condolences. I never met Buck nor saw him perform. However as an aspiring mandolin player many thousands of miles away in New Zealand he inspired me with his music and in particular with his mandolin playing. His touch and feel was second to none that I have ever heard. I tirelessly worked on his versions of Closer Walk With Thee and Kentucky Waltz, Sassy Frans and Bucks Run. I recorded my versions of these and other Buck White tunes and sent these to a number of my musician friends. Not as an imitation, but as a disciple and wanting to get the same feel and delicate touch. An inspiration to whom I owe my thanks and love of this music.

I met the White's in 2015 at the Grand Ole Opry. They made me feel so welcome. I remember Mr. White asked me if I knew what to do when things got to be more than I could handle. I told him, "Let go & let God." He smiled & said, "That's it." I have tried my best to remember to do just that. Especially after losing my husband in 2023. My fave memory was meeting them & they prayed for me. That was so very special to me. Y'all made a big difference in my life that day. The White's will ALWAYS be my heroes. I send all my love & prayers to the family.

Always Near
Don´t cry that I am lost.
Be not sad to feel not my touch.
If you listen you will
hear my voice in the wind.
Feel my hand on your shoulder with the morning sun.
Feel the cleansing rain as I quench the flowers thirst so they may bloom.
See me as you glance behind you and hear my foot falls on the gravel path.
I am always near as your heart beat
and your smile.

BUCK WHITE,
So many memories and so much fun. Never had a friend like this man. So thankful he came my way. He could be as stern or soft as any man I ever knew, but was oh so humble
He never got above his raising. To just say I loved him would be an understatement.
Mr. Jr.

When I think of Buck White, I smile. He always had kind things to say and maybe would share a favorite scripture too. I last saw Buck, Sharon and Cheryl when they appeared along with Ricky Skaggs at Stephenville, Texas Ampitheater. What a wonderful, memorable show. After the show I met with the Whites and Buck was telling me of his problems with his eyes. Turns out I, too, had exudative macular degeneration (which began when I was 43. We discussed this problem at length, and I remember telling Buck that the Lord would see him through this as He had seen me through these troubled times. Blessings to Cheryl, Sharon, Rosie and Melissa, and the grandchildren. Now Buck is with Patty and he is smiling that wonderful smile of his that he so readily shared with everyone. God bless. Barb Coop, from Texas.

I always loved talking with Buck at the Opry or wherever we would run into him. He had such a great sense of humor and a little bit mischievous! He loved hearing about me being from Mountain View, AR and the people we shared friendships with from there. He always had a funny story to tell. He will be missed but he is singing in heaven with all his family and friends that were waiting on him.
