To whom I believe was a wonderful man although I never got the pleasure of meeting, I heard many wonderful things about him from his son Tim. I send my deepest condolences to the family and I know Tim is hurting over the loss of his father. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you and I'm here for you if I can offer any support. Love Always!

Dad, I Love You and miss you already. Thanks for raising me as a Christian and outdoorsman. You helped set a strong foundation for who I am. As I wrote in your birthday card last month, "thanks for providing me with only great memories of my childhood, I know there are those that cannot say that." I loved all the times we got to hunt and fish together in the last few years, and will miss you not being here to make more great memories. I know you're in heaven, and I know if it's possible you're fishing right now.
Love you,

I worked with Buford decades ago when we were both young deputies. He was a reliable, friendly person who was well liked. Condolences to the family.

I cannot attend the funeral because I am out of town.

Paula and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I only knew Buford from the baseball field; and boy was he there faithfully. He most certainly loved being right there every Saturday to watch Jacob and Jeffrey play ball. May you all find peace and comfort during this time of grief. My deepest condolences.

Tim, I never had the pleasure of meeting your Dad even though I heard good things about him and know that my daughter loved him. He had to be a great man to have had such a wonderful son as you. My thoughts and my heart goes out to you at this time. Much love to you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss. My family knew Buford through his off duty work years ago and he made quite an impression on us. I can honestly say that he is truly a great man. I know what you are going through since I lost my dad 2 weeks ago. I know it will get better but you just have to take it one day a t a time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathy to Buford's family at this time of loss. Always enjoyed being in Buford's company since it always involved lots of laughter. He is in a much better place now and I am sure Jim was awaiting his arrival. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
