Burt gave me the opportunity to serve on the Board of the Center for Art Law. I had no experience in field, but he saw potential in me, and for that I am forever grateful. He was kind, knowledgeable, and I am sad to hear of his passing.

Burt and I worked together when he was a Lawyer at Drexel Burnham and I was with outside counsel. Working with Burt was a pleasure he had a wonderful combination of intellect and humor. I also new him from his painted furniture days and we reconnected at the ADA Show this past July. I will miss him.

Helaine:
I am oh so sad and bereft to learn of Burt's passing. He was one of a kind, always a gentleman. The stories he could tell. The American antique world lost one of its best. I hope that kind and good memories sustain you in your time of mourning. My sincerest condolences.
