Burton Peterson

Peterson, Burton E. age 81, of Prior Lake, died Nov. 15, 2005. He is survived by wife, Rita; sons, Scott (Christine), Cabot (Margrit), Reed (Julie) and Marty (Monica); 4 stepchildren; 15 grandchildren; 8 great- grandchildren, and also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Served in Europe during WWII with the 102nd Infantry Division, awardee of the Combat Infantry Badge, Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He received a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of MN in 1948. A Registered Professional Engineer whose career included professional engineering positions at US Steel, 3M and the United States Postal Service. Funeral service Friday, Nov. 18, 11 AM, with visitation one hour prior to service at St. Mary Magdalene Lutheran Church, 14225 Quentin Ave S., Savage.
