Susan Shirah Obituary
Born June 20, 1961 in Glynn County, Georgia to the late Alvin Leonard and Betty Sue Shirah, she had lived most of her life in McIntosh County, and was employed with CircleK. Ms. Shirah was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed being outdoors. Fishing, boating and hunting were among her favorite things. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Gillikin, and a brother, Alvin L. "Beau" Shirah.
Survivors include her daughter, Crystal Miller Barrios of Darien, a son, Charles Gillikin of North Carolina, four grandchildren, Adam Lambert, Jr., Luis Barrios, Melissa Gillikin, and Galvin Gillikin, three brothers, Robert D. "Sammy" Shirah of Darien, Joseph Leavell of Cordele, and Wayne Shirah of North Carolina, three sisters, Vickie L. Poulsen of LeCanto, FL, Melanie D. McGraw of Shabuta, MS, and Debra Smith of Darien, her Fiance' Jimmy McEachin of Darien, and several nieces and nephews.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I was never fortunate enough to meet Susie but I heard so many wonderful things about her. From the stories that I have heard from Debra, she sounds like an amazing person that was full of life and I know she will be missed. You are all in my prayers.

Susie was loved by so many people and was the kind of person that people wanted to be around. She was always so sunny and compassionate. I will miss her dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
