Aunt Alice was special to me as she treated me special as a very little girl when my family visited when I was 4 or 5. With her sons and my brothers all doing lots, she still had something special for me. And when you say she was a lady, you said it right. My thoughts are with the family.

I was Secretary at Rutter-Ruether Realtors from 1968-73. Alice was such a lovely lady and we spent many fun times together. She literally sparkled when she came into a room. She was so proud of her husband and sons. She was being honored at University of Missouri School of Business. I was her invited guest at the event. She introduced me to my future brother-in-law and his wife. They introduced me to his brother on a blind date when he came to town. Alice got such a kick out of that and had a bridal shower for me at her home. I was just in my hometown of Ashland but now reside in College Station, Texas. My husband was a professor at Texas A & M School of Veterinary Medicine. He passed in 2017. My deepest sympathy to your family. May many happy memories sustain you. Glenda Ellis Scanlan
