I know I'm crazy late. But C.J., it's been more than a year since you went to meet the man upstairs. Your amazing voice got me through many of my problems. I love you so much, though you never knew me. Thank you.

I know it's been almost a year, but I just found out. I'm saddened to hear this. CJ's voice was amazing, and Love of A Lifetime is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. I've loved that song since I was a kid in the 80's. My prayers are for his family, that the Lord will continue to heal their hearts.

Dear FireHouse band members, I am so sorry for your loss and C.J.'s family and friends. You guys were a MAJOR part of my teenage years Memories I will never forget. I am saying a prayer right now for C.J. Snare.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around CJ being gone & truly heartbroken. We all have a strong bond with our musician hero's that is special & so many memories to cherish. His band was one of the last of our era that I actually looked forward to rocking out with the guys and they never disappoint! I will forever be grateful & feel blessed to be alive at the same time and grow up listening to his amazing talented, powerful & beautiful voice. I made sure to catch any Firehouse tours within driving distance that sometimes covered hundreds of miles. M3 festivals were always a highlight & huge rock family reunion. I did get to meet them all, but selfishly CJ was always my favorite and he gave the best hugs! Such a personable, no ego, kind, caring and loving attractive man & that beautiful smile lit up as bright as the stage lights. He has such a commanding presence & aura that just draws you in like a magnet and treat you like a lifelong friend! I made sure to tell him how much his music has made a difference in my life & will continue and thanked him for sharing such a huge part of his life with us. It warms my heart he gave so much of his life, passion, love & time to all of us fans! He absolutely knew he was loved by many many people as he made the time to talk with us. CJ truly is the heart & soul of Firehouse and I will carry all the cherished memories with him & the band as long as I breathe. I have a Judas Priest concert this Sun & will rawk out extra hard & raise a glass/beer & Jager shot in CJ's honor!! My sincere condolences to his family, band mates, friends & fans. This is a massive loss in so many ways. RIP CJ you will be greatly missed. Heaven is a lot brighter, sweeter & gained an amazing soul. Rawk the angels sweet soul & see you on the other side

I remember having lunch at CJ and Karen´s house. I believe his Uncle was with him and they had the first poster of CJ. I said "is it weird that thousands of people will have you in their room"? He said "it´s been my dream". He was a star. My sympathies to his family and friends.

I had the biggest crush on CJ as a 13 yr old girl. I remember one day I was at Kmart with my mom and sister. This was in 92’, I believe. I was 13 years old and had recently discovered Firehouse. I was flipping through a magazine that had pictures of CJ and his band. I noticed one with his wife (girlfriend, maybe). I was so jealous of her. That was MY man! I remember calling into the radio station and requesting his songs, especially Don’t Treat Me Bad. This was the very first FH song I heard. I was babysitting and it came on the radio. I was hooked! I would look for them on MTV. What a great memory! CJ made my childhood exciting, even if he did choose someone else over me! LOL

My prayers go out to his family. We love you, CJ. We love your family, bandmates, fans, and close and personal friends, too!

I have been a fan of Firehouse since the beginning. They were and always have been one of my favorite bands. I wanted to badly to meet them. When it was announced that they were going to preform on the Monsters of Rock Cruise in 2018. I was so excited because this is where I would meet them. On the cruise I met everyone but CJ. I kept trying to meet him, but every time I saw him, he was eating. I have a rule, I do not disturb them if they are eating. I feel it´s rude. Finally, on the last day I was walking into the Windjammer to eat. I grabbed some food and sat down . However, I saw CJ there again. But this time, he put his glass down and started to leave. I had just gotten my food. But when I saw him put his glass down, I was like, game on! I walked up to him and asked for a picture and spoke to him for a few minutes. He was truly a sweetheart. After that meeting, which is a story I share all the time. I have had the pleasure to meet him a few more times. And every time he was just as nice.
I will truly miss his voice. It´s such a shame he was taken so young. As a fan this truly hurts and I have cried over him. I will continue to honor him by playing his music. RIP to you CJ. You were amazing. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world.

Very sad to hear of the Snare family loss. Way too soon. My sincere prayers and condolences to all the family and remaining band members. Saw them in 2019 in Charlotte... Packed house and they blew the roof off. CJ was still hitting the lyrics line it was 1990!

My ex remembers a young long black haired guy she worked with that said he was in a band called White Heat and had just cut a demo 45. He gave her a copy and on side B was a song called Don't Treat Me Bad. Listened to it one time and I told her to give it back to him, get all their autographs on it as they were going to hit it BIG. She did... she got them and I was right!

This is absolutely devastating news. I´m so thankful you all took the time to meet us in North Dakota in August even though the concert got rained out (and, you were even more shocked that I flew from Colorado to ND to see you in concert ). I will never ever forget that moment. You all were so kind. I would have never thought you were battling such health issues. You were so positive and upbeat. Even though that concert got rained out, I still had plenty of memories from going to FireHouse concerts in the 90s/2000s when I was in high school and then college. Meeting you in August 2023 will still go down in history as my best FireHouse memory. Who would have thought that, that would be the last time I´d get to see CJ. Here we are, just 7.5 months later, and he´s no longer here. Heartbreaking.

May CJ rest in eternal peace and light. Thank you all for being such an amazing person.

My favorite memory of CJ was when my fiance proposed to me on stage in 2017 and I was nervous not knowing what was going on and CJ stood next to me, put him arm around me and said don't be nervous and my husband ask me to marry him in front of the whole venue and then we Danced to When I Look into your Eyes. It was such a special moment and our Wedding day I walked Down to when I look into your eyes and our first dance as husband and wife was Love of a lifetime. When I heard of CJ passing my heart broke in a million pieces. So unexpected since I saw he posted that he was resting and recovering and would soon be back touring. My heart Breaks for Katherine, Heather, Hunter and Conner. Not to mention also band members Bill, Allen, Michael, Perry(not currently but a friend) and back up Nate who has been covering. CJ will be forever missed I have loved him and this band since they started and I always will. CJ will forever be the Heart and Soul of Firehouse.
R.I.P. CJ MY FRIEND until we meet again because I CAN'T say goodbye you will forever be reaching for the sky!!!!! Good night sweet angel. We love you.

I've seen Firehouse three times. Of course the first time was when I was in my early twenties before I had kids. Then about 7 and a half years ago at Rollies when I was pregnant with my daughter Alyvia at Rollies in St. Cloud MN. CJ could hit some really high notes. The last time I saw him was the winter of 2022 at The Medina Ballroom! Firehouse always rocked out! CJ was so optimistic!! I've never been married but when I do I'm gonna play "Love of A Lifetime!"

He came to work at stars Hall of Fame. First day we became friends. And he eventually stayed with me at moms house. We had some great adventures lol

CJ I never had the chance to meet. However, his voice and music saved me more than once. The world has lost one of the great musical minds, his writing , and musical talent was phenomenal. I am so sorry for the family, and friends. This really hurts my heart. He will be missed, by many. By me as well. Much love from the great state of Georgia, to you. May peace find you in this time of mourning, for Your Husband, father, son, brother , and friend.
