C.K. THOMAS Obituary
October 22, 1926 – November 27, 2016
With great sadness, the family of C.K. Thomas announce his sudden demise at the age of 90 to be with our Lord and Savior.
Thomas is lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Mary; his children: Diana (Joe), George (Annie); his grandchildren: Kieran, Tyler, Nicholas and Anjali. His roots are from the Chakkalamannil family, in Thumpamon, Kerala, India. Prior to emigrating from India in 1975, Thomas served as an Accounts Auditor with the Indian Railways. He was the senior- most founding member of Trinity Mar Thoma Church and a member of Canadian Kerala Cultural Association.
A viewing will be held at Trinity Mar Thoma Church at 6:00 p.m. on December 9, 2016, 7120-98 Ave, Edmonton. A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Evangel Pentecostal Assembly 4461-50 St, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully accepted for Mission of Mercy Canada, 4104-97 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 5Y6.

Our Heartfelt Condolences 2 u all on BabyChayanUncle's death. We r praying 2 GodAlmighty to give ual d courage & Blessings to face dis situatn. Uncle was so Actv & we al didnt expect dis so soon. But it is God's will & decisn. Give Thanks to Lord for keepng him so healthy & actv for last 90 yrs. We wil nevr forget d smile dat he had on his face all d time. It was a pleasure to talk with him. He usd 2 tel us dat he nevr used 2 sit idle -alwys busy with Church/Social activities & in his Vegetlable gardns. He fulfild all his wishes & obligations on dis earth. We r prayng 4 his soul 2 RIP. My deepest condolence to you and family. I didn't get to know your Dad but stories about him impressed me that to him age was no barrier to learning and being useful. I told my 60 year old aunt that your Dad picked up the guitar at 70-80 something, when she felt she was "too old" to pursue it! May God comfort you and family.

Our prayers and heartfelt condolences go out to the family for the loss of Babychayan uncle. He was a wonderful person and we will always remember him for his love and compassion. We will always hold fond memories of our time together in Kerala.
