C. Wendy McIntyre, 65, of Pennellville, unexpectedly passed away at home Sunday, October 12, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Chuck and Shirley (Ladner) Usiatynski of East Syracuse. Wendy was an avid gardener, a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a faithful Elvis Presley fan. She loved the color purple, and Prince Edward Island held part of her heart for her entire life.

She is survived by her companion, James McPherson; four children, John McIntyre of East Syracuse, Rachel McIntyre of Liverpool, Jonas Pangaro of Virginia, and Jessi (Chad) Felice of Homer, AK; five grandchildren, Joseph James and Corey Mac Felice of Homer, AK, James Mody of Liverpool, Kristin Warner of Chittenango, and Cameron McIntyre. She is also survived by five siblings, Linda (John) Paoff of East Syracuse, Ray (Mary) Usiatynski of East Syracuse, Frank (Hilary) Usiatynski of Fayetteville, Casmir (Kathleen) Usiatynski of Oswego, and Caroline (Samuel) Zappala of Columbus, Ohio. She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly. Wendy was predeceased by her spouse, James McIntyre.

Calling hours will be Friday at Church of the Resurrection, 7125 Collamer Rd, East Syracuse from 1 to 4 p.m. A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. with a reception to follow.
