As students, we benefited from Dr. Nair's exemplary teaching, and then as colleagues enjoyed Vasu's support, and unparalleled clinical knowledge. We gained so much from his choice to serve the people of Regina. He will be very sorely missed by the whole medical community.

It is an honor and privilege to have known Vasu ettan, as we affectionately called him. He related to the young and the old with warmth, love and respect. A totally unassuming human being as he was, he was the role model for a lot of people in a lot of ways. A sincere friend, a loving husband and father, a compassionate doctor, a dignified gentleman - all in one person. He will be very sadly missed by all of us.

I am so sad and shocked to hear of the loss of Dr. Nair. He was such a wonderful and caring gentleman. I worked for him for 10 years and always had the highest respect for him. He cared so deeply for his family and his patients. I have thought of him often and always speak highly of him. I truly hope you are able to find comfort in each other at this very difficult time and know that he will be missed by so many. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. He will never be forgotten. I am deeply sorry.

I was saddened to here of the passing of Dr Nair.He was a wonderful role model and teacher.He never refused to see a patient in need despite having a tremendous workload.He was simply the finest neurologist I have ever had the privilege of working with.My condolences to his wife and family.

I was so deeply sadden to hear of Dr. Nair's passing, he saved my life many years ago...I owe much of who I am today, to my parents and to this incredible kind and gracious man...Thank you Dr. Nair. My sincerest condolences to his family of whom were his greatest pride and joy, regardless of all his professional accomplishments. May his memory be eternal.

We will always remember Dr. Nair's great kindness and compassion, not only as a doctor, but as a citizen of the world.
