Cailey, you were my teacher. I didn't see you as my teacher, however, you were my friend. And I loved you. You were such a strong, sympathetic and optimistic woman who was truly and exquisitely unique in so many ways. I was heartbroken when I got the email that changed my life. I joined Run for the Cure and never ever forgot you. Your photo is in a frame on my dresser and I think about you all the time.

Mrs. Renaud-Killam,
Thank you for being such an amazing French teacher. You were very patient and were always smiling. Your previous students, as well as myself, will miss you terribly. You will always be in our hearts.

Cailey,

It's with tremendous grief and shock that I recently found out about your passing. Your friendship while at Faculte St Jean meant a lot to me. Rest in peace.

While we only knew Cailey as a very busy and successful young woman, her wedding pictures attest to her love of life and the love in her life. Her time on earth may have been short but it was very full.
We lit candles in her memory in cathedrals we recently visited. Some, perhaps, she had visited in her many journeys.

I didn't know Cailey personally but felt I knew her through her aunt Candace. Cailey was truly an inspiration. She was a wonderful young woman who passed before her time. Cailey is someone who will be remembered forever. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you. Pat Aspelieter, Kamloops, BC

I write this with a heavy, broken heart. although I haven't seen Kailey for many years, through her Dad, I was kept current on pretty much all that was going on in her young life..
First time I met Kailey, she was about two years old being held by her paternal Grandma. When I extended my hands out to hold her, she gave me the nastiest frown...she put me in me place, I tell ya'!! wonders girl, wonderful daughter and grand daughter..She will be missed by all who knew her..My Deepest Sympathies to the Family.
God Bless.

Hi. I don't know you. But I was reading the obits today and logged in to Cailey's blog. I sat here for an hour reading. This woman - Oh my what an amazing and witty attitude! I wish that I had known her. And I can't imagine the grief and loss that those who have known her and love her must feel. May God be with you all,
Darlene
