Caitlin A. Clarke

One of my favorite movies is Dragon Slayer. She was magnificent in the movie. She captured the innocence of Her Character Valerian perfectly. Loved her acting . She was beautiful in that role. Every time I watch that movie in captivated by her BEAUTY. GREAT PERFORMANCE. GREAT MOVIE. ONE OF MY FAVORITES. GODBLESS CAITLIN CLARKE. PEACE ETERNAL. BEAUTIFUL WOMAN. THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. What a wonderful actress Caitlin was!

Dr. Carmello Ranii, my farther was Catlin's "God Father", and he loved her dearly. Dr. Charles Clarke and my father went to Pitt Medical School, served in the Philipsens during the war, and were best friends. I remember when Catlin came to visit my parents, and when she walked through the front door her persona was captivating. She was beautiful, gifted, talented, and intelligent. Although her time here on earth was short, it will be a joy to see her once again in heaven. God Bless you Catlin your entire family, and especially Anne!

Catilin Clarke was the God Daughter to my late father, Dr. Carmello Ranii. Although I did not know Caitlin personally, I met her once when she visited my parents home years ago. Dr. Charles Clarke and my father, attended Pitt Medical School, served in the Phillipines and were life long best friends. There friendship was one in a million, and I later learned that my father named me after Dr. Charles, Charlie, Chaz, Clarke. What an honor and it absolutely created a Sicilian Bond with the Clarke Family, and always will until God calls all of us home.

This is the image of Katie that I keep in my mind and heart.

GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN, GOD BLESS YOU CAITLIN. I STILL LOVE YOU.

From the moment I met Caitlin, I knew that she was soemone special. Although I only had her as a teacher briefly, I feel that I have learned more from her than any other teacher I have had in my life, acting or otherwise. One would be hard pressed to find another teacher with as much to offer her students as Caitlin had-- and it would be impossible for one to find a teacher who offered her knowledge so freely, and with such eloquence. She was truly a beautiful person in all aspects. And although she will be greatly missed, she will be honored twice as much.



It is impossible for me to imagine how anyone who had the privilege to meet her could feel any differently.

Caitlin was a gem. I have yet to meet anyone who was as inspiring and radiant as she. What essence she had. I will miss her humor, her compassion, and her strength. She was beautiful.

When Katie was a little girl Grandma Kate often said:"I love that little girl.She will wear herself out helping other people".This was such a prophetic statement.

Katie spent her entire life making friends,and more importantly,being a great friend.She will be missed by many.

I am a big fan of Caitlin Clarke and I am sorry to hear of her passing. My sympathy for her family and may she be in a better place.

Caitlin was a beautiful, gracious lady who was truly loved by everyone at Pittsburgh Musical Theater. She was uncommonly generous with her vast knowledge and talent. She will live on through her work and through the generation of student actors she inspired. My deepest sympathies to her family, her students and her many, many friends.

I worked with Caitlin (as her hairdresser) on the Broadway show Titanic. It was a joy to visit her dressing room everyday to share a secret or a belly laugh...sometimes both. I have missed her since she left New York, and am sadder still that she's left this world. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family and other friends. I'm sure we all agree she was truely a unique spirit.

I had the privelage of appearing in "Titanic" with Caitlin. She was a most remarkable artist but an even more extaordinary person. She was one of the kindest, most loving, most supportive, and most giving people I've ever met. And her wicked sense of humor was always at the ready.

Her gifts as an artist will always be remembered. Her gifts as a friend will be sorely missed. Her time was too short but full of love.

I am so sorry to hear that this beautiful person is no longer with us. I shared a dressing room with Caitlin for almost two years. I grew to know and love her, respect and admire her talent, and learn from her very generous spirit. She will be greatly missed. Many heartfelt condolences to her family.

Kate was a good friend of mine since I was 16 years old. She introduced me to New York and told me it was okay to be myself. She was a mentor and someone I will always hold near to my heart and cherish that friendship every day. I will think of her often and miss her deeply.

As a student of Caitlin's I am sorry to see her gone, but I know that she will be remembered and her memory cherished by every person whose life she made an impact on, especially my own. She taught me so much about, not only the theater, but life as well, and her stories will always be remembered. Deepest sympathy to her family and friends, and may God bless Caitlin.

Caitlin, in my book, was one of the most passionate people i've met so far in my life. As a student of hers, i felt she helped individually and devotedly. If something werent right, she'd tell you. If something WERE right, she'd tell you even more. Sure, Caitlin will be missed by many of us, but her spirit will never die. I will truly miss you, Caitlin. Thank you for your inspiration, knowledge, heart, and soul.

I was a student of Caitlin, and she inspired me so much. She was an amazing actress,teacher, and mentor. She went out of her way to meet with me outside of class to help me. I will miss her so much. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

We were never privileged to meet Ms. Clarke, but were saddened by her passing just the same. You see, back in the 70's as I was scanning the local paper I happened upon a article about ayoung actress from Sewickley named Caitlin Clarke. I fell in love with the name. I eventually saw the movie that the article was referring to..."The Dragonslayer"..After watching her performance, I decided then and

there that if I ever had a daughter, her name would be Caitlin. In 1985 our Caitlin was born and she's as precious to us as I'm sure your Caitlin was to you, her family. Hopefully a part of Ms. Clarke will live on in our daughter. Our sympathies. Dr. & Mrs. D. Lim

This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I loved Kate - it's that simple. Our friendship and time together in L.A. is one of the treasures of my life; we supported each other through professional and personal ups and downs, and although miles came between us, she was never far from my thoughts and prayers; she was one of the people in my life for whom i only wanted the very best, not only because she was dear, but because she was so remarkably modest about her incredible talent; i'll miss her laugh. Her energy. Her spirit that couldn't be stopped. I'll miss her. God Bless.

As a student and friend of Caitlin's, I would like to say that she will be not only missed, but remembered as well. For her complete and utter devotion to art and education, as well as her undying love for her students, family and friends alike, she will be forever edged into the minds of those she has touched. I would like to send my condolences to Caitlin's family and say that she is in our thoughts and in our prayers. I will miss her undying dedication to others and her unmatched talent.

Caitlin taught myself and many other students how to act..and she was an amazing actress herself.She was someone that came to life through every word that she spoke.I will never ever forget her. She will live on in all our hearts. Heaven has gained a true angel.

Caitlin was my favorite acting teacher. She has left an impact on every one of her students' lives. She had so much to offer and she will never, ever be forgotten by anyone who knew her.

It is a sad day when the best of actresses, who was happy to pass on her craft to others, is no longer with us. I give my deepest consolation to Katie's family and friends in this difficult time.
