Caitlin Muello Obituary
Ms. Muello was born February 13, 1952 in Framingham, the daughter of the late Lincoln and Margaret (Knight) Pierce. She was a graduate of Sarasota High School, Florida and studied at Manatee Jr. College, Sarasota, FL.
She was a longtime member of the African Violet Society, loved riding horses, and loved all animals. She volunteered and also worked at the United Sarasota/Bradenton Humane Society. Caitlin was a believer in the Lord, possessed a strong faith and was compassionate to all. She had lived in many areas throughout Middlesex and Worcester Counties.
Ms. Muello is survived by one son, Gabriel M. Muello of Providence; one daughter, Faith M. Muello of Grafton; Mark Muello of Weston; two sisters, Marlin Pierce Anderson of Carmel, Indiana and Robin P. Hirst of Marina del Rey, California, and 6 nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 15, 2011 at 10 AM in the North Uxbridge Baptist Church, 5 East Hartford Ave., Uxbridge, MA 01569.
Interment will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence, RI 02906.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday, August 14, 2011 from 3-6 PM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 N. Main St. (Rte. 122), Uxbridge. Memorial donations may be made to the Rose Monihan Hospice Home, 10 Judith Rd., Worcester, MA 01602 or the Baypath Humane Society, 5 Rafferty Rd., Hopkinton, MA 01748.

You have been gone from this earth for yeow, but I have been blessed to have gotten to know your daughter, Faith Muello. She was a neighbor, and is now a good friend. Life is small circle of friends. Rest in peace.

Gabby & Faith - I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was an incredible woman. One of the most sincere, loving, down-to-earth, real person I have ever met. We had so many laughs together. She was so quirky. She taught me a lot about living simply, happily. From her violets, to her beaded doorways, Sparky, to her miniature tea figurines and my favorite, her tiled kitchen table with the little surprise faces. Caitlin continually amazed me and I always enjoyed visiting with her. The world has lost a beautiful soul here on earth. May you fly high Caitlin.

I had the pleasure of caring for Caitlin for the last several months at Dana Farber. Her bravery amazed me, and I admire the fact that she "did it her way". Bless her and her family.
