Words seem inadequate to express the sadness I feel about the loss of Calvin Jr. Calvin brought so many gifts to our life and I know we will forever miss him. Thank you for taking caring of me while studying at VCU. You were definitely a BIG Brother to me. Rest in peace cousin. Cousin, Janice Coleman

Calvin. I have been praying for you and your family. The last time I saw you as usual you were smiling ear to ear. Thanks man for always being positive. You were a real example to follow there at RPD. You were quiet but your confidence and experience stood out like a lion. I do apologize that I never got a chance to sit down with you and talk about being retired. You deserved it. You served the community well. The years you spent handling DPR or driving the wagon was a experience young officers now will never get the pleasure of seeing.
Thanks Calvin for being available to talk at 3 or 4 in the morning while in the precinct. I miss you man I miss your soft demeanor. By Gods grace I will see you on the other side. No need to handle any calls for service or answer the phones. You are done. Take your rest Calvin. We loved you here but God loves you best.
