Dad and Mom,
Both of you continue to live on in my heart.
My memories of our time together are vivid, numerous and beautiful.
I was truly blessed in this life to have you as my parents.
Dad, I feel your presence walking beside me on my daily hikes in the woods. I know how much you loved it and Im sure I inherited that simple pleasure from you!
Mom, thank you for sending the beautiful little cardinal, sitting there on the snow covered branch, I knew you sent it to let me know everything was okay.
I feel you near me most in the kitchen while Im cooking and baking and listening to music. I thought that gene skipped me, but ended up just being a little late! Maybe the secret was in your blue apron that we have.
I share stories, photos, and memories of you both with my 4 beautiful grandchildren (I want them to know you too) they enjoy hearing about their GGpa and GGma Dunk!
I know I will be with you again someday, until then, know I love you both with all my heart.

Dad Dunk,
Time goes by and things are left not said. Thank you for being a great father-in-law all those years. Mostly, thanks for the traits my sons inherited from you. Bill can fix almost everything and Jason knows the value fo saving a dollar. They are wonderful men and a part of you will live on in them and all your children and grandchildren. They adored you. Rest in peace. Tell mom I love her too and that Bill certainly inherited her gift for gab!

Dad,
When I think of you I remember our long walks through the woods, and our quiet conversations at the dining table.
Your calm gentle strength was what I admired the most.
Thank you for teaching me to ride my bike, to drive a stick shift, the names of all the trees in the woods, how important it is to always check my oil!
I will miss your blue eyes, your soft smile and the way you could make me feel so loved.
Give Mom a little kiss for me.
Janis

Cal,
You were the epitome of what I always aspired to be. Fiercely independent and strong, you never deviated from what you fervently believed!

Dear Dad,
I am forever and deeply grateful for all you have done for me all of my life; teaching me how to do nearly everything, to take my time, don't get in a rush and how nearly everything worked, from car engines to motors on washing machines, the simple how to ride a bike, how to fix a car, cut down a tree, from shut off valves to electrical circuits, the knowledge you shared was incredible, you even taught me how to build a house....most important though Dad, was the lesson at the Clarkston State Bank and the value of a dollar, how to save!....all the incredible life lessons that most people never learn, all the patience, love and time you gave to me answering all of my endless “why Daddy” questions are the reason for the person I am today. You said you'd never know what you'd do without me and I will never figure out what to do without my Dad, forever lost without you. I love and miss you more than words can ever say. Tell Mom I love her and I'll see you both one day! Your devoted and loving daughter, Lori
