Calvin Jones was a star running back for the Nebraska Cornhuskers who later won a Super Bowl ring playing with the Green Bay Packers. May you find comfort in your wealth of fond memories together with Calvin Jones. May the love and many, many special memories you shared with your devoted loved one show how much your life was touched by him. May the God of comfort bless your grieving hearts with strength, loving kindness and peace as the world copes with the loss of Calvin Jones. I was so sorry to hear about Calvin´s unexpected passing. I knew Calvin from elementary school and we reconnected later in life. He was such a kind hearted and wonderful human being. May all of his memories be blessing to all who knew him.

My condolences, Prayers & Hugs to each of you. I met Calvin when he lived in Lincoln back in 2005. So many good memories & conversation over fish dinners. He was one of a kind. Always positive, and could keep you laughing. Will miss him as I'm sure we all will. RIP my friend.

I was Calvin's neighbor I would make him breakfast and dinner every day and he was the coolest individual I've ever met in my life really funny really outgoing in a very hard-working man really down to earth I said my blessings to his family his mother his children just always think that when the wind blows that's him giving you guys a big hug

I had the privilege to coach Calvin on Omaha Beef's Indoor Team in 2000.He was polite,good teammate and player.He was humble and didn't think the Beef was below his level of interest,which is unusual for someone who played on a Super Bowl winning team.RIP Calvin.Sorry I can't be there to honor your life.God bless your family.
