Sam was a great Aggie and a great Golfer.
He was the most competitive golfer I ever met and I enjoyed every match I played with him. It was sad when his health did not allow him to continue, but I know that he is back on the 1st tee in Heaven in his colorful knickers.
We will miss his wit and sense of humor.
Love, John & Sandy

Jeannine, Kyle, Lee, and Family, It was such an pleasure, honor, and privilege to know Sam. Just knowing him, made a significant impact on me especially during my years at A&M and immediately afterwards. My thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time. May God bless you and keep you safe! Brian

Netterville Family,
My heart is so heavy for your loss of Sam. I have such fond memories of Sam and Jeannine as a youth. Sam with his cigar and drink while listening to the Ponderosa FD ban radio radiating throughout the living room. The great hugs and incredible smile I was always greeted with every moment I encountered this wonderful family. Even 30+ years later I still received the same hug and smile. I will always have the utmost respect and admiration for Sam, as well as for Jeannine. I will truly miss him. He was very special and always will be.
God's Blessing to the Netterville Family

God Bless the Netterville family. Mr Sam was as fine a man as I have ever known. I can think of no better salute to him than to say it is people like he that make America the most wonderful nation in the world. He was a Patriot, a wonderful father and a great Aggie. My prayers are with you all,
