Cam S. Barrett, Jr. on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at 10:45 AM. Beloved husband of Margaret Stirling Barrett of 62 years. Father and father-in-law of Cindy and Conrad Chapoton and Dr. John and Rhonda Barrett. Grandfather of Dr. Bree, Stirling, Hailee and Cameron Barrett. Great grandfather of Isabelle Graves. Son of the late Cam, Sr. and Myrtie Barrett. Brother of Mrs. Irma Cox, Mrs. Melba Garrett and preceded in death by 3 sisters, 2 brothers and 2 infant grandsons. Brother-in-law of Hodge Garrett. Age 87. A native of Clarks, Louisiana and a resident of Laplace for the past 56 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend services. Visitation at the First United Methodist Church, 301 Bamboo Road, LaPlace, Louisiana, on Friday, January 21, 2005 from 6pm to 9pm and on Saturday from 9am to 11am. Followed by religious services in the church at 11am. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to the First United Methodist Church, 301 Bamboo Road, LaPlace, Louisiana or Grand Court of Louisiana of O of A for Amaranth Diabetes Research Fund, c/o Mrs. Christine Anders, 1129 North General Pershing Drive, Hammond, Louisiana 70401. Arrangements by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace.
