John, Judy, Ryan and family. My heart aches for you all with Cameron's death. Although it has been many years since I have seen you all, I still see those two little boys running around, please know I am so very sorry for your loss.

I met Cameron in the spring of 2007 when I started working at Ruby Tuesdays. Being shy, Cam was one of the first people to be nice to me and to invite me out with the group. Over the years that followed, I have many memories of Cam. Many examples of his selflessness (his late night labor when we were rehabbing our apartment), his questionable culinary tastes (his love for spaghettios and his creamed corn and Mac and cheese concoction I so loved to tease his about) and how whenever I hear the word "indeed", he instantly comes to mind. Like many others have mentioned, our relationship was characterized by long, late night, tangential conversations that I miss terribly. Perhaps one of my favorite memories happened early in our friendship. I had recently started dating one of his friends when Cameron pulled me aside. He wanted to know my intentions, to make sure I was serious, to make sure his friend wouldn't be hurt. I remember thinking I loved them both all the more in that moment: Richard for inspiring that kind of friendship, and Cameron for being that kind of friend, the kind that cares so deeply about the well being of others. I would come to understand that that was an essential part of Cam's nature. I wish that I had been able to impress that upon him, and how very much he meant to all of us. I am deeply saddened for all that knew and loved Cam, and to the world for the loss of someone with both the strength of Cam's heart and the boundlessness of his intellect. Forever loved and greatly missed.

I remember working with Cam at Ruby's years ago. Hearing the news broke my heart. He was always so happy and such a great friend. He'd light up a room whenever he walked in! Although we may have lost contact over the past few years, he was always one who stood out to me and will be terribly missed!

I'm lucky to have met someone as great as you, Cam. You were always smiling when I saw you and I hold the memories I have of us hanging out near and dear. You will be missed by all.
