Camilla Errington Wilson

Germantown, TN - Born in Houston, Texas, Camilla E. Wilson lived a life brimming with grace, intellect, and joyful energy. Camilla's dedication to education shone for more than three decades-many of those years at Dogwood Elementary in Germantown. She touched countless lives as a teacher of first grade, kindergarten, and upper-grade math, but found her deepest purpose inspiring gifted young minds in the APEX program.

Camilla, herself, was inspired by the arts, in all forms - symphonies, Broadway shows, gallery walks, painting classes, and in dancing. When she wasn't dancing, she was travelling. Her wanderlust led her to every continent but one, sharing adventures with friends and family that became cherished stories.

Camilla is survived by her daughter, Amy W. Young; her son-in-law, Stacy Allen Young; and her granddaughter, Victoria Taylor Young-her kindred spirit, currently attending Madonna Learning Center. A celebration of Camilla's life is being planned in partnership with the community dances that brought her such joy. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in her honor may be directed to Madonna Learning Center, continuing her legacy of love, support, and advocacy for learners of all abilities.
