Dr. Candace Grace was an amazing pediatric dentist. She was my kid's dentist for the past many years. We noticed that she was no longer at her practice location, so we searched for her online to see if she moved her practice somewhere else so my kids could continue to have her as their dentist. While searching for her online, i came across this page. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. My condolences go out to her entire family and friends who I am sure she has influenced in amazing ways. From the conversations with her during the dental visits for my kids, I could tell she was someone who had a great spirit about her, and I know she will be missed by everyone she has encountered.

I remember the first time I met Dr. Candace Grace. I was leaving Lovett Dental to go full time at my own pediatric office after having my first child, 13 years ago. The owner introduce Candace to me and Candace observe me a few days to see my work flow before she started at another location. It was welcoming to see another African American pediatric dentist, as there are so few of us. Candace was eager to learn, so I paid it forward giving her a few tips on a CD. After leaving I would check on Candace from time to time, to see how things where going with her and my favorite assistant Martha who was then her favorite assistant. Like all things, another child later and a growing business, time moves by too quickly. I woke up in the wee hours this Father´s Day 2022 and thought of Candace, just out of the blue. It has been too long. I said to myself on Monday I should give her a call. I figured the number I had may not work, and I googled her. So proud to see she had her own practice. Then my heart became so sad as warm tears flowed down my cheeks that God called this most beautiful person home. I teach my children that life is about the moments we share with others. My heart is a elated that I was able to share some wonderful moments with Candace Grace. Candace, who has an infectious smile, that when she smiled really big her eyes would light up and sparkle, and so would mine. I will ALWAYS remember you.

Each time we came in for a visit my daughter was so excited to go and anytime we drove pass the office she would yell out her name with a smile on her face. Dr. Grace´s impact and representation is unforgettable and her kindness, love and excellence radiated through her. She was more than a dentist. I was saddened to hear of her passing, she was a phenomenal dentist and person. She was so comforting to my daughter on her first visit as well as over the past years. She was just sweet, I will never forget her having a unicorn bracelet for her at a visit because she knew that my daughter would love it. I want to send my heartfelt condolences to her family. My condolences and sympathy go out to the family of Dr. Grace. I remember the first time I took my daughter to get her dental check up and the welcoming smile Dr. Grace embraced upon us made the visit so much better. Remembering all the visits with her, talking to her and always just knowing the amount of care she put into her work. She was always comforting my daughter, Aviannah, whenever she had fear of the visit. It had been a couple of years since we had been back to her office due to insurance changes but I did run into her a time in the store. My only regret is not stopping by her office just to say hello.
