Dear Roy and family,

I am so sorry to just learn today that Candace passed away in August. I was thinking about her 50th birthday celebration that I attended at the E. Liberty Presbyterian Church as I leafed through the update you had given us on Sept 26, 1998. I was wondering how all of you were doing, and so I googled Candace's name. She will be terribly missed.

I will always treasure her unwavering optimism and incessant ability to boost the esteem of others. I know when she hears one of us say "bless your heart!", she will smile on us. I pray that you will find solace on the great legacy that Candace has left all of us.

May God bless you, Roy, Gloria and the rest of your family.

To the Morrow family:

I'm a nursing student at CCAC Boyce campus and my first term clinical was in January at PSC. Candace was always so sweet, that our 14 student clinical group made her an honorary nursing student at the end of the term in May. Our clinical instructors from that term just told us this week about Candace's death.
I'll always remember her.

Roy, Roy C and Gloria, Candy was a very special person as all of you know and I will continue to carry the memories of her in my heart. The photos we have, remind us each day of what a wonderful person she was and how much we love her. I am so sorry that you have lost your "mom" and Roy, your life partner and wife.

To Candace's Family: I'm so sorry to hear that Candace has passed. She touched so many people's lives, including mine's through her kindness. I met her when she first arrived in Pittsburgh and was looking for employment. She had very creative mind and wanted to continue to be a television producer.

I knew her as a person that listen, respected all people, and didn't make judgements on others. I know she loved her family very much. I like to think we were good friends that helped each other when we needed it. I know she helped me and was a true sister friend to me. We will all miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. I know God will bless and keep you.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived
okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here
is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you
every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up
and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were
gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.

There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for
me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's
chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life
on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not
be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But
one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a
time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will
give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day
was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the
way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick
him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in
your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember
you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Roy and Family, I am so sorry for your loss as all of the other aides at Presyterian Senior Care are to. I had the pleasure of caring for Candace for 6 years, she never complained, she always had a smile, a kind word, and complimented everyone she came in contact with. She will dearly be missed by me and everyone that knew her at Presbyterian Senior Care. God bless you and your family.

Roy my prayers for you and the family.

Candace was a special friend to me during our days at Healty Start. My kids remember the "playdates" we used to share on Saturdays with Roy and Gloria.

I can still remember that lovely, reserved, professional woman and the first time she ever took off her glasses, let her hair loose, and did a great Chaka Khan impression for me in her office. Candace was always a true professional and full of life, fun and many surprises!

God bless and keep you!

Our love and sympathy to Roy, Gloria and Roy. Part of Candace life was taken from you earlier, the life you had together, but now she is with her Lord and I know you feel the emptiness. I hope that you will find comfort knowing she is with the Lord and that your love, faithfulness, loyalty and caring were so evident to all who knew you, in the most difficult times. I know that she felt this love and was blessed by having such a loving family.

She blessed my life just hearing about her and I never met her, but felt as if I knew her through you. Thanks.

Love Charlotte
