Candace M. Ross

While working with her at PetSmart she mentioned that her first cousin was Jason Varitek (Boston Red Sox catcher). I just happened to go to Spring Training that year in Ft. Myers, FL and had him sign a few baseballs for her.....the Red Sox went on to win the World Series....the first time in over a hundred years! On the recent anniversary of her passing I just wanted to ad this.....still in my memory.

This thought goes out to you as I share special memory of last years Christmas together with you. I can't begin to tell you what a void there is in My Heart. I found a new favorite it is the "Angel Martini" I wish you were here, I could really use a good girl to girl talk,Turkey Squatter. I was just recently told about this and my heart sank when I heard. I worked with Candace at Petsmart for three years (98'-01')and enjoyed seeing her every morning. She was always a pleasure to be around. To her family, and those closest to her, I will always remember her kindly.

It is six months today that God called you home, we all miss you so much. Today I will a randon act of kindness in you're honor. Be not forgetful to entertain stragers: for thereby some have entertained angels unaware.

Yesterday, upon arrival for our scheduled grooming appointment with Candace, I heard the shocking, sad news. My sincere and deepest sympathy I extent to you, her family and friends. I so appreciate Candace for her caring nature and gentle handling of my aging dog, Mocha. We both will miss, but will always remember her brilliant smile!

I just called Petsmart for my puppies grooming. I was stunned to hear the tragic news about Candace. There are no words to adequately express our sympathy for the devastation and profound loss you are feeling. Please know that we are thinking of you and praying for you. What a beautiful and wonderful person. My puppies Poco and Hades appreciate the time that Candace spent with them. She was so kind and gentle to them. Her beautiful smile and beautiful blue eyes will shine forever.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Candy's death. I graduated from high school with her and felt she was one of the nicest people in our class, and such a great athlete. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

It is with shock and great sadness that we share your loss of Candy. Please know that all of your friends (extended family) feel the pain that you are experiencing, always hold the memories close.

It is with heartfelt shock & sadness that I learned of the death of Candace just last night. My heart is heavy with the thought of this world without her shining smile & joy for living and caring.

I coahed at St Clair when Candy played basketball at Peters and I always wished I could get my kids to play with her intensity.I am truly sorry for your loss.

No words can be written to express what you and your family must be feeling. I've always admired you, John, for your gentle heart and it saddens me to know there is nothing I can do to ease your pain. I need you to know I am thinking of you and your family at this sad and tragic time.



Tell your mom I'll be over (whenever she is ready) to take her to Jimmie's--where we'll have a few "cocktails" in honor of Candy.

I graduated Peters High School with Candy and always remember her as a fun, easy-going person and a very talented athlete. My thoughts and prayers are with Candy and her family.

I didnt know candace for that long but for as long as i did she was a great freind i know many will miss her wonderfull personality..........

I did not know Candace for very long and it was usually at parties. She was an extremely friendly young woman who always asked about my dogs. The last time I saw here was at Christmas at our friends' house on her way home. When my partner passed away two weeks ago, the only picture I could find for his mother of him smiling was of Candace and him in front of a fireplace hugging each other with the most fantastic smiles. After searching through his digital files, I regretfully cannot find a copy of this wonderful picture.



My heart goes out to Candace's family and friends. I know first hand what theyu must be experiencing at this moment.
