Mom can listen, embrace, and nourish her surroundings
She collects others' sorrows and takes it to the Most High
Mom never complains of thyself, always focusing on what matters
Seeking righteousness; becoming pure of heart
She walks with you spiritually during tough times
Mom conquers struggles of daily life with enormous grace
Not only does she stand at the end of the line for her offspring;
But does it with the intention to create and form integrity
Mom sees within us while the noise of the world tries to overcome
She only has one way of thinking;
and that is to unite, making her way to heaven
She becomes grandma to many with overwhelming love;
spreading it to every individual in a different way
Mom carries her title to the fullest level of what it means to be a mom
She was sent from heaven and that's my Mom
She will forever live in all of us
Leaving us with a great lesson learned; To believe in on another
And to know that we all came from a woman
Who embraced bringing life into the world

You have always been so special to me. I really hope that you knew just how much you mean to me. I remember as a little girl laying with you watching TV, running in and out your house, asking for freezes, or just watching you cook. My heart is broken knowing that i won't see your smile or hear that infectious laugh again. Yet I am comforted knowing that you are free of sickness, once again whole, and I know that you are with our Lord whom you love so. I have so many memories to cherish and lessons learned. You will always live on through all of us. I'll miss you forever! Thank you for loving me!

You were the best person i knew. You taught me how to love and be loved, you showed me that everyone deserves compassion and forgiveness. You made me want to be a better me. Even in your last weeks you were still teaching me and I only can hope that I can pass down all of the amazing magical lesson to my daughter. I hope she has you in her. I wish you could've been here to see her and hold her and pray for her like you did for me but i know you are watching over us still guiding us. Mami, tomorrow I begin my final goodbyes. I miss you so much already. I understand and accept that it was time for you to go home, I get that. But I don't know what tomorrow will look like without you. Candida, you were one of the most beautiful souls that ever walked this earth. I am so blessed that I got to be part of your and your familie's life and through that, gained an amazing friend and sister, Nellie. Thank you that, because of your love for God, you raised a daughter who loves God above all things and has been a role model and mentor to so many. Your radiant smile and gentle ways will be missed but, will live in our hearts forever. I love you, ma.

Hi grandma soy yo Nalette. I don't even know where to start. I miss you so much and now that you're gone it's like half of my heart is gone sometimes it feels like my whole heart but since I have family I feel a little bit better. I wish I had a chance to say goodbye but you know that I loved you and I still love you and will always love you and miss you.
