Cantor Abraham A. Salkov

My condolences to a wonderful family and the loss of a Great Man.

Even though I haven't seen Cantor Salkov in years, I feel a great sense of loss at his passing. I will always remember his quiet, elegant demeanor and his wonderful voice.



I always think about him and Edith every Pesach. I will always remember the pleasure he took in singing the entire last verse of chad gadyah in one breath. His enjoyment of my guitar playing after the seder was always especially appreciated.



My heart-felt sympathies to all of the Salkov clan.

My condolences to the family. Cantor Salkov was especially important to our family. My late parents, Elizabeth and Harold Jacobs were very fond of him.

Cantor Salkov will always be seen, heard, and learned from in my memory. He was a true teacher and a man with a wonderful smile.
