Carey A Mark Scottsdale - Carey Allen Mark, 74, born on November 8th, 1948, passed away peacefully at home on May 24th, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. Carey was born in New Rochelle, New York to his late parents Austin and Elaine Mark. He attended Boston University and graduated with a degree in Communications. Carey eventually moved to Arizona and worked at various Banks and Financial Institutions. He met and married his wife, Kathy Mark during this time. Carey was an avid follower of all sports, especially basketball (Celtics), hockey, baseball and golf and passed his love and knowledge of sports to his four sons as well as 6 grandchildren. He had a huge love for his family. Carey enjoyed singing to the Beach Boys and the Beatles! Carey is survived by his wife, Kathy Mark and sons, Cameron Mark (Tiffany), Tyler Mark (Melissa), Colby Mark (Sierra), and Lucas Mark. Brother Bruce Mark and 6 grandchildren (Simon, Vivienne, Benson, Dottie, Nolan and Landon). As well as ex-wife Diane Mark and many friends. We shared many basketball games when our sons played! There was never a dull basketball game with Carey in the stands! Glad we were on the same team. RIP our friend
