Peoria - Carl Allen Barton, age 64, of Peoria passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home due to complications of cancer. Carl was born on June 16, 1960, in Peoria, IL. Surviving are his son Jason Allen Barton, sister Patrica Culp, brother Hal Barton, 3 nieces, and 2 nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Joice Dell Barton Stewart and Jack Cyril Barton. Carl loved to laugh and be outdoors. Most of all he loved the Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers. He worked in many places in his life including Rohn and Caterpillar where he worked as a forklift driver until he retired. He spent his years in retirement enjoying life. There will be no funeral service or visitation at this time.

Hey Patty ,Hal,&Family
So sorry to hear about Carl.
Have a lot of memories especially when ya all delivered the paper !!! In the winter time ,but when ya got done mom always had those cinnamon rolls or a homemade pineapple upside down cake ready !!! Yummy . Been a long time since I seen any of you my God be with you and Bless you all .

Hey Carl, definitely wish we could“ve enjoyed some recent years together and sorry for the hospital stays and complications. God bless you and And forever be with the angels eternity definitely remember the good old days of the paper, route and racing the mini bike and joking and lol chocolate milk and the fire extinguishers ha ha definitely gonna miss you love your family and blessings to Hal and Patty during this very difficult time. Love you all.
