We will miss Carl very much. Our family enjoyed his company and conversations over the telephone. He was the only grandpa our older children ever knew. He was very devoted and kind to them. The best quality I liked about Carl was he was a good old fashioned guy, and he was not afraid to give you his opinion (whether you liked it or not!) Thanks for being there for us Carl.

Love Julie, Jay, and the Kids.

Uncle Hunch was also my Godfather. I wrote to him recently and shared how I loved visiting with him on Thursdays and Sundays when we went to Grandma's house for spaghetti. I have fond memories of our family gatherings and miss getting to be with my family in Minnesota. Uncle Hunch was kind and always made me laugh. He will be missed, but I know I will see him again someday.

Thirty plus years have passed since my last contact with Hunch but I'll always remember his unselfish dedication to West Duluth youth baseball. My condolences to Kenny and all of the Conito family.
