I realize that this a long time coming, but I truly wish the best for you all. The family has certainly grown since I last spoke with you. I will always remember and appreciate the wonderful man your father was and the special place he holds in my heart!

Dear Mrs. Lu, Polly, Jeff, Laurie and Families,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of Mr. Carl. He was a dear man. I was fortunate to share my teenage years with your family and never told you how much it meant to me to see the love that your father had for you. When I started my own family it was your family that I always kept in my heart. I knew this is how a family and a father should be.
May God bless you and help you through this difficult time.
All my Love,
Pat Mayfied Carden
