Carl Hoffman Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 22, 2024.
Eric is survived by Mother, Marilyn Radigan Pfeifer, Stepfather, Robert G. Pfeifer, Uncle, Kenneth Radigan, Aunt, Sharon Radigan, Godmother, Maryellen Duprel, Godfather, David Duprel and many cousins and friends.

Eric will be forever remembered as the absolute best son a parent could have. He called his mother everyday and sometimes they would talk for hours on end. He would come faithfully every Saturday evening for dinner ever critiquing the menus, adding ingredients to help his mother "make it better".

He called himself "Doggy Daddy" as he really thought he was a daddy to all of his dogs. He truly loved animals and was known to pick up stray dogs that he would find on the side of the road..

Eric was a Certified Professional Landman in the oil and gas industry for many years. He also worked as a Gourmet chef.

Eric owned 105 acres which he would lovingly refer to as "Hoffmanistan". He had a skid steer that he would use to forge new paths on the property naming them "Two Track", "Pig Highway" (from his night hunting of feral hogs with friends), "I-35" and several other silly names He loved to set up game cameras and record the coming and going of deer, bobcats, racoons and pigs. He was a gun enthusiast, and aside from hunting the pigs , loved skeet shooting and long- range target shooting.

Eric was an avid golfer, having started at the age of four. He was a State and Regional Champion in both his Jr. and Sr. years in high school. He was always tweaking his clubs to improve their performance so much so there was an entire bedroom in his house devoted to golf club storage and memorabilia collected over the years.

Eric was in the Gifted and Talented Program in the Keller, Tx, ISD, graduating 2nd in his class of 500. He attended the University of Texas at Austin graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Economics.

Eric was a man of many talents, generous to a fault, knowledgeable in every subject area, and possessed a deeply curious mind. He has been sorely missed by everyone who knew him as he was certainly unique.
