I have a lot of fond memories of Carl. I met him for the first time at Van Zandt elementry in Marshall, Tx. Went all the way thru graduation from MHS with him. He was a great person to have as a friend. I'm sure all who knew him will miss him dearly. Respectfully, Don Renfro

There was quite a crowd to welcome Carl into the Golden Gates. My brother, George
and the other Caddo hunting buddies that had already gotten there. The Dear Lord had his hands full keeping them toned down.
I know you will miss him, but think how happy he is to be in such a wonderful place with our Dear Lord, his good health back and with his family and friends.

Kathrine, Carl was a great person without him I would have never become the person I am today. Carl was a key person in the success of Advantage Rent-A-Car and had a strong influence on Rip (James) and Roar (Justin). Once
when James was about nine he wanted to go bird hunting so Carl drove James, he and I way out pass Uvalde to lease he had. He got James all ready shoot, where to aim and sat and waited. A dove came, James shot it and Carl had him go get it. When he came back with the bird James said I got it and I am ready to go. Carl just smiled and laugh we cleaned the bird took it home and cooked it. What show of love and patience, and humor. God welcomed home your husband and his son Carl. With love his and your friend Jim Walker.
