Carl Mele Obituary
In keeping with Carl's wishes, there will be no public calling hours or service, Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Olean.
He is survived by two sons, Jeff Mele and John (Bridget) Mele; two grandchildren, Tyler Mele, Karli Mele; two nephews, Robert (Renee) Reed, Jr, Anthony Reed (Craig Arthur); longtime partner, Joan Hooper and daughter Sara Hooper.
Carl was born in Olean and attended schools there. He worked for many years in the construction and building supply industries. He was a supporter of youth sports leagues and member of the Seneca Falls, SMS lodge. He was also an avid NY Yankees and Notre Dame Football fan.

My condolences to the family members. I worked with Carl. I always enjoyed Carl stopping into Wolcott Building supply. Always had a smile and was a fun guy to chat with. May he rest in peace.
