Carl R. Pennington

CARL R PENNINGTON, 58, OF POTTSTOWN husband of Wendy M. (Myers) Pennington, Pottstown, died Wednesday, at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Mr. Pennington was born on December 9, 1952, in Norristown. He was a son of the late Lewis Pennington, and the late Frances (Whitehawk) Kane. Before he became disabled, Mr. Pennington worked at the Audubon Texaco Station, Lower Providence Twp. In addition to his wife, Mr. Pennington is survived by his daughter, Savannah E. Pennington, at home; 13 siblings, Troy Pennington, Pottstown; Lewis Pennington, Pottstown; Janice Harpel, Boyertown; Dennis Pennington, Norristown; Dorothy Neiman, Green Lane; Gary Pennington, Pottstown; Jamie Pennington, Pottstown; Libby Livingston, Norristown; Jolene Pennington, Cove Lake, TN; Amanda Pennington-Eziadul, LaFollette, TN; Amy Pennington-Miller, LaFollette; Tammy Pennington, Lafollette; and Lewis "Chip" Pennington, LaFollette; and his step-father, Robert Kane, Pottstown. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Main St., Trappe, with the Rev. Thomas T. Kochenderfer, Pastor Emeritus, St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Audubon, officiating. Friends may call from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
