Carl POPOFF

Sad to hear Carl passed away, such a good guy, tough guy but, very fair.

A year ago today Dad joined Mom and Dane in Heaven. I miss you every day Dad and can't believe that it has been a year. I know that you are happy and that is all that matters. Until we see each other again.....I love you Dad!!!

It's hard to believe that Carl has been gone a year now. He had a tremendous influence on me as a mentor and as a friend. Here is a picture of us at his retirement party in late April of 1990. I roasted him and just about every executive who attended. Even as he took the podium to speak, I was still roasting him. All in good fun of course, and he made sure to get back at me during his farewell speech. A great guy, and a great man.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

What great memories of the family living and growing up down the street from them. All where kind, generous,and giving. He help in many ways and I appreciate it very much. John Glueckert

Soft spoken with a lot of wisdom. Was just a small part of the family for 6 years, but he and Nila were always on my mind. Glad Carla got the opportunity to be a part of the family, after all Carla is named after Carl. R.I.P.

My mind is flooded with loving wonderful memories of my Grandpa. I can only aspire to live my life as he did . Full of love , kindness, giving and laughter.

Carl and Nila were fond members of our Cell group at Fairhaven Church until their move to Texas.

Carl was a leader, mentor and friend in the most genuine and sincere sense of every one of those wonderful attributes. Consequently, his memory will live on for those of us that were blessed to know him.

Carl provided me with my first management role at NCR over 40 years ago. Since then he provided me direction, guidance, counsel and support. He became my mentor, my confidante, and my friend. I am forever in his debt. It was an honor and a pleasure to have known him. He will be sorely missed.

You taught us how to live, laugh and love well. We will forever love and miss you dad. Rest well and in peace,

Carl inspired me to learn more about the Bible in order to conduct Bible lessons. He was an enthusiastic learner even at the age of 91. He especially enjoyed The Gift of Christmas program at Prestonwood Baptist Church. The closer it got to Christmas the more he would talk about seeing "the Best" Christmas program he'd ever seen. He wanted everyone to see it. Although in these past few months he didn't talk too much, he always had a great smile for everyone with his warm greeting. Carl was always a meticulous dresser. He will be missed by many.
