Carl and I were friends many many years ago. There has always been a special place in my heart for Carl (Wally as I knew him).

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I worked with Carl for many many years and he was a very generous and kind hearted man. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

As an employee of Carl's for about 10 years, my heart was deeply saddened at his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to each and every member of his family and all of his friends. May God lift you up and bring you comfort in this trying time.
