Dateline: Lincolnton Carl Wesley Shifflett, 65, of Lincolnton, died January 16, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center Lincoln. He was a native of Harrisonburg, VA. He was the son of the late Carl W. and Hazelteene Shifflett and husband of the late Janice Hensley Shifflett. Survivors include his sons: Kevin W. Shifflett of Bessemer City, Wesley E. Shifflett of Harrisonburg, VA The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Monday at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00PM, Tuesday at Mt. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. He will always remain in my memories of the good times we had. I know they were not all good but we did have some and i will always remember his crazy personality. He was a good man and he will be missed. We know he will have no more pain or suffering. Take Care Kevin and if there is anything I can do please let me know.
