I met Chuck about a year ago, when we moved two houses down from his. He is and will always a gentle, kind, happy soul. I'm so glad to have met and talked with him before he passed on.

We met Chuck when we moved in two houses down from him. Very nice man who took the time from tending to his gardening to say hello and engage in conversation. Our condolences to his daughter Lisa who cared for him at the home and the rest of his family. thank you Chuck for welcoming us to the neighborhood....May you RIP.

I will always love "Cassanova". What a great man! My life is better because he was my friend. I have thought about him often. Always with a smile. To know he is dancing with his love...brings happiness. An Angel got his wings!

Im so sorry to hear of the passing of Carlos.
I first met him while working at Santa Barbara Bank and Trust and we became quick friends I used to call him Romeo because of his flirtatious ways with the ladies. :-)
He was always happy and kind. I would often times walk him to his car joking with him that I would push him down the stairs, the wheelchair ramp was right next to the stairs.
He always spoke of how much he loved and missed dancing with his wife.
I went to visit Carlos at his home many years ago, shortly after he lost his other leg. I noticed how sensitive he was about it and I felt so desperate to help him somehow.
I will forever remember "Romeo" Carlos for his kindness and strength.
He is certainly a tremendous loss to this earth. What an incredibly wonderful person he is. I'am blessed to have met him. What a blessing he must have been to all of his family.
With heartfelt sympathy
Susie Curtis
