Carlos & Delfina Hernández, passed away after 69 years of marriage in El Paso, TX. Delfina [89] passed away on 10/4/23 and Carlos [89], joined Delfina in their heavenly home only three days later on 10/7/23.
  Delfina was born on 8/4/34 in San Elizario, TX to Eduardo & Vicenta Lightbourn. Carlos was born on 2/2/34 in Alamogordo, NM to Carlos & Otilia Hernández. They were high school sweethearts who met on a blind date at the Plaza Theater on 11/22/51.  As devout Catholics, they established monthly prayer vigils to the Divine Mercy at St. Mathew Catholic Church 18 years ago, amongst many other ministries. Carlos was known for his amazing rosary making passion and his rosaries are now all over the world.
  They are survived by their children: Sylvia, Lory [Scott], Deedee [Todd], Carlos, grandchildren: Becky [Colin], Tyler [Alicia], Danielle, Courtnee, Halee, and great-grandchildren: Parker, Hunter and Maelle. They are predeceased by their daughter Becky Hernández.
  A Visitation will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 with a Rosary to commence at 6:30pm, at St. Matthew Catholic Chruch; 400 Sunset Rd. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at St. Matthew Catholic Church. A Graveside Service will follow at 11:30am at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery; 4900 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa, NM 88008.
