Carlton Pearson was a megachurch founder who embraced the idea of universal reconciliation, a fringe Christian doctrine that asserts there is no hell, and all souls will eventually be welcomed by God, and was branded as a heretic by the evangelical fundamentalist church as a result.

I am so sad to hear of the passing of Carlton Pearson. God used him (in 1994) to totally change my life. I will not discuss my sadness at the changes he made in his beliefs, but I will say that he died in the hands of a loving God. I am truly sad...

As a student of ORU, I attended. C Pearson and Gary McIntosh started Higher Dimension in Jenks, OK. It was a very small storefront which grew exponentially. His annual sermon on the horror Jesus´ suffering before being crucified was magnificent.

I will miss Bishop Carlton Pearson very much. It all got started at the Azusa and he brought me understanding of the Word of God from him and others preachers and singing and I never missed one year from attending that service in Tulsa. I will miss him so much and I hope I will see him again in heaven. Love always Gwendolyn Carter.

Bishop Pearson came to Heritage Christian Center in 1988. Bishop asked where the mother was that has a son with severe asthma? I raised my hand and he asked where my son was? I said he was over in the childrens' worship area and he asked someone to go get him. Bishop prayed for my son. The next week I realized that we had not been making the 2-3 times a week rush to the Emergency Room. Bishop hearing from God, calling for my son and I changed both of our lives. I will forever be greatful to Bishop!

Seeing him at Azusa when taking my elder brother to ORAL ROBERTS UNIVERSITY. Hearing him,Vickie and Pop Winans and Donnie McClurkin, The Clark Sisters all worshipping and having a holy ghost good time. It kept me tethered to my faith, and I supported his movement to the Gospel of Inclusion.

I remember "Carlton" when he was.an active member of the Southern California State Youth Choir of the COGIC. He commuted from San Diego to.Los Angeles for rehearsals. Great sense of humor in his teenage years. R.I.H. Carlton I know you loved God and his people. Condolences to his family.

I had the pleasure of being in a service of worship and praise service, With Bishop Carlton Pearson.
The anointing of God was" favorably" upon the church and people. As he ministered too to people. They received the word of Christ.
Most condolences to him and loved ones, he will be missed by them and all that loved him.
May the grace of God dwell in place with his absence and renewal of his new life coming as to being the one called to be.
His destiny is known to one that God has revealed what, then, how and why.
Thank you, lord, for the experience I had in overcoming the ways of the world and given a new life and a second chance. By his teaching and services at that time and place in my life.
