Dearest Spike, thank you for being such a wonderful husband to mom and for being a special and important part of our family for years. We miss you both so much but are happy you are back together. I'm so thankful for all the fun times I shared with the happiest couple I've ever known.

Well Spike another year has passed. I think of you often and still smile when I look at my favorite picture of us.
We think of you often and miss the fun we had. We are planning to visit Dottie tomorrow, we miss her also.

Another year has passed.
Wow!! I have a picture on my desk of Spike and I, sitting on their back deck having a cold beer and waiting for our wives to come back from shopping.
I smile every day when I look at it.

Another year has passed and another year that a great friend is missed. I often think of Spike and the wonderful times we shared with him and Dottie. The one thing that we all have is the great memories of Spike . He has been missed, he will continue to be missed but he still puts a smile on my face when I think of him.

It's been four years since my Spike passed. I do miss his smile and I think about my friend often. Time goes bye so fast.

What a wonderful write up for a wonderful man. What a friend we had in Spike. Could not have shared the past 34 years with a better couple than Dottie and Spike. We deeply miss Spike but our hearts are overflowing with great memories. Love to all,

We are grateful for having known Mr. Carlton Spike Staples. We fondly remember our trips to Popple Bottom Rd on the Cape--and fun times on the Pond--sailing, swimming, as well as tennis, campfires, and just feeling at home with the entire family. What an amazing life....and such a handsome man! I loved teasing him about his beautiful blue eyes!
