Carly Christine Grogg

Carly Christine Grogg, 30, of Bonita Springs, FL and Williams Bay, WI passed away peacefully after a seven year battle with leukemia that she fought with grit, courage and grace on Sunday, June 1, 2025 with her Mom and Dad by her side to shepherd her through.

Daughter to Susan Tiedt, Edward Grogg (Jennifer Baker-Grogg). Sister to Eddie Grogg (Madison Grogg). Stepsister to Hannah Baker and Luke Baker (Paula Gomes). Auntie to Regan Grogg. Granddaughter to Letitia Grogg, the late Dr. Edward Grogg, the late Patricia Tiedt and the late Norman Tiedt. Preceding fiancee to Ryan Clase and dog Mom to Maverick and the late Mille. Niece, cousin and friend to so many.

Carly was born in Houston, TX on May 5, 1995. She came into this world in the most quiet way, not a peep or cry for several minutes until she was good and ready. She spent her childhood growing up in Mahomet, IL and Woodstock, IL. Carly liked to experience everything to the fullest extent. One summer in Wisconsin, she was determined to learn to how to wakeboard - and that is exactly what she did by herself with all her determination.

After high school, Carly moved to Florida to attend college at Florida Gulf Coast University. Leading with her entrepreneurial spirit that she inherited from her Dad, Carly decided to become a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. She then started her own business, Carly Christine Fitness, which focused on helping women achieve healthier lifestyles. Earlier on, during her leukemia treatments and out of personal need, she came up with the idea of a sweatshirt that she would not have to take off in the cold infusion room. Carly created the New Peaks line of hoodie sweatshirts with easy snap-open arm IV access.

Carly loved spending time in nature, taking hikes in the forest or kayaking for hours. She would be visited often by a peacock she named Peaky at her WI place.

She made a bucket list when she was young and checked off the biggest item to visit Croatia and took that amazing trip with her Mom just a few weeks ago mid-May 2025.

Carly made her mark on this world and on our hearts. There are scores of memories for so many of us and ways to describe Carly as the person she was that this entry alone cannot even come close. Please keep sharing those memories.

There will be a small private family memorial in summer/fall of 2025. In lieu of sending flowers, Carly would love to have trees planted in her memory wherever you may be.
