Carlyle Gene Helstad

I am so sorry to have learned of the passing of Carlyle. Please accept my sincere condolences to his family and all who will miss him. Carlyle was a special person and served as a great mentor and confidant as I began and progressed through my early law enforcement career as a Deputy Sheriff in Trempealeau Co. I remember him as a pillar of Law Enforcement ethics! He gave me great support and guidance as a young and new deputy. Although I moved my law enforcement career to River Falls, retiring in 2015, I have never forgotten how important he was to my success in the field. Thank you so much Carlyle!
